Small-Batch Syrups — VIRGINIA SALES ONLY

Our syrups are made the slow, traditional way—trees are tapped responsibly and sustainably, and the sap is boiled down in small batches right here on our farm.

Most people are familiar with maple syrup, but black walnut and sycamore trees can also be tapped for sap and made into syrup, each offering its own unique flavor.

We offer pure maple syrup as well as maple syrup infused with black walnut and sycamore sap, each with its own distinct flavor profile.

Maple is smooth and familiar with classic sweetness.
Black Walnut Infused Maple is darker and richer, with deep, nutty notes.
Sycamore Infused Maple is lighter and more delicate, with a subtle sweetness and a soft, almost vanilla-like finish.

Black walnut and sycamore trees produce far less sap than maple trees, making these flavors especially rare. To create these specialty syrups, small amounts of these unique saps are blended with our maple syrup to highlight their distinctive character.

Each syrup is packaged in an 8 oz glass mason jar.

We also offer a Trio Sampler, which includes 4 oz jars of Maple, Black Walnut Infused Maple, and Sycamore Infused Maple.

Once they’re gone, they’re gone until the next season.

  • Our syrups are hot-packed and sealed in glass mason jars, making them shelf stable when unopened.

    Storage:

    • Store unopened jars in a cool, dark place.

    • Once opened, refrigerate to maintain quality and freshness.

    • If crystallization occurs, gently warm the jar in hot water to re-liquefy.

  • Virginia requires the following statement on products made in a home kitchen:

    Made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS).
